Live action doesn’t appear love as much as it’s a CGI mess. The animated is just far more interesting with more power behind each character.
This film was all over the place without any real plot or action until the end. This is also not your normal dark Phoenix storyline. Instead it’s an absurd money making scheme with lies to scare your wallet. That’s the only fear here.
Considering the source material and this is essentially a film about an evil Superman it falls extremely short. There is nothing exciting about this film.
A bit slow at first, but works as a nice transition film inbeteeen the marvel films. We say farewell to Tony and farewell to Spider-Man with Disney as he becomes more edgy.
Far too much exposition, which can only work in a film with amazing casting. Unfortunately that is not the case. There is absolutely no chemistry between the married couple and plenty of forced topics. It’s obvious from the start there is not going to be a happy ending either.
There are some slow parts and inconsistencies with complete darkness, but the cast pulls it off with stellar performances.
Before there was 50 shades there was this film and no one knew what to make of it, but it paved the way with more of what you thought you might see in a 50 shades film.
Not worth watching unless you are watching for the cast or more of the pumpkinhead story.
Cheesy as can be, but it’s still a good idea. Unfortunately that’s all that it is.
There’s something new in this update and that’s a lot more back story and humor as well as giving you a new love for the grinch. I like to imagine this is the grinch in a different reality, then the original story because it is. It’s a different decade.
It’s a fun idea with a strong female princess, but nothing new to film, just to the original story.
Obvious, predictable, and idiotic are just a few words that explains this film. Also humorless.
Predictable without any real comedy.
The story gets better about 30 minutes later, but then it’s just because of the comical moments that shouldn’t be funny.
This film could be so much more with its casting choices, but the story never takes it to the next level. Sure it looks good, but that’s about it.
Fun, but not as exciting as the first film:,
Near perfect casting with DC taking yet another page from marvel films.
The story is there, but the look of this film is a dizzy mess.
It’s not incredible as much as it’s an amusing ride with a little bit of something for everyone.
It’s funny to laugh at with quite a bit of heart and equal parts of sexual ogling for the men as well as the women.
