This movie was way too formulatic for me to enjoy, its a very standard thriller by the numbers, that basically doesn't feature anything new or surprising and is one that is like hundred of other genres movies, especially like those made around the same period. Its not like this movie is completely horrible or anything but for a genre piece it isn't anything special. So for this being a solid 90' s movie, I give " Deceived " a C.
Like I've said before I'm a fan of found footage films, and this one was one good film and it scare the hell out of me, pretty much like " paranormal Activity " but even better, this one has more scares and more disturbing scenes toward the end of the film, I don't know why people are so harsh to this type of films. This one is one of the best that I have seen. So for this being one good hidden gem, and that became one of my favorite found footage film, I give " Paranormal Entity "a A -.
Black Snake Moan is the type of film that makes you stop and examine your audience before deciding who to recommended it to. It features really solid acting, a great atmosphere, and a strongly different story, but it also gets a bit sick and twisted at times and has no problems doing so. Take my words to heart and then go with your instinct on this one. So for this being a good solid film and for Christina and Samuel being great and delivering very good solid performances that are just great to watch, I give " Black Snake Moan " a C.
Some people called this movie the best Bond movie, But I called it a solid one, maybe because I'm used to seeing the ones and this one was to old to see, but I liked the movie Sean Connery is the one good James Bond and he knows the role perfectly. Packed with good action and nice well all around villains, this continuation of the Bond movies is a good one, not the best but a good one. So as that being said I give " Goldfinger " a D.
You can tell by watching this movie that so much thought and work are behind the international production. The script is thoughtful, with a storyline full of turns and twists. This is one of those movies that you cant guess what will happen from beginning to end. So for this having good performances and delivering a great solid thriller, I give " La Ultima Muerte " a C-.
