The most disturbing truth of teenage murders. Not since Natural born Killers have I had this feeling of regret of watching brutal Snuff film. A little too much nudity even for R rating.
I saw suicide squad and although I enjoyed the film and all, there were a few major flaws-
1) will smith- wisecracking usual self, will smith tries to be serious in some scenes and I'm just not buying it. Maybe I'm just being a bully but if you removed dead shot from the equation put in the joker as the leader and removed the implied love triangle between him and Harley Quinn ((not a spoiler)) or maybe just not have had deadshot be the center focus.
2) dialogue- You try to write a comic based film and feel the need to place b**ch and p**y in there it kinda tends to show you're going for the funny. Sorry you're not marvel it doesn't work. David Ayer could of personally hired a writer instead of making me shake my head going "you could do better than that"
3) The storyline was all over the place cause I was intrigued with a couple of the villains and it was sadly chopped in sections.
Jared Leto is amazing but his screen time is limited but his chemistry with Margot Robbie who plays the very sexy Harley Quinn is spot on as well as dawning the classic joker and Harley outfits in a sequence in the film. He made the role his own.
Viola Davis is a force to be reckoned with and I absolutely adore her from how to get away with murder and she did.
I wouldnt say it was terrible but it wasn't great
Having read only up to book ten of the series, i can't say it was a bad movie but it wasn't fantastic. The movie starts out as little preachy to non believer but then calms down twenty minutes in scenes of peril where Nicholas cage playing the lead of pilot of the ship realizes he might have made a mistake. I can't say it was a realistic portrayal of the rapture because it hasn't happened. This is a good message for Christian families. 3 1/2 stars for a good effort. Slow building but it's not horrible.
When a family agrees to sit shiva after their father passes away, on top of the fact Judd finds out his wife has been with his boss for over year nothing seems to go right. This An adaption to Jonathan troopers bestselling novel of the same name featuring Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, Adam Driver, Timothy Olyphant, and Jane Fonda. A funny look a family dysfunction that takes a emotional turn and phenomenal performances.
I read the books so I knew the storyline. Chole Grace Moretz nailed the role, shes a phenomenal actress. its a scene by scene out the book which i was happy about. Great soundtrack but the movie wasn't geared towards the music which is what i love about the novel hence the 41/2 stars. People who havent read the books cant say they hated the ending in truth it ends the same way because its follow up story is "WHERE SHE WENT" although i have to say its probably in the list of films of the better pictures i saw this summer.
If you love trainspotting. And just overtop comedy. Starring James Macovoy and Jamie Bell as two junkie cops in Scotland. I can't say i recommend it. It's not for faint of heart. But it's great fun for those who favor independent films.
I loved the book long before I saw the film, I felt the film was identical to book. The acting was superb. The editing was great. The direction was amazing. The only thing the film lacked was the relationship between Henry and frank, there was a whole story where Henry confronts frank and his mother for suggesting they stay in the house instead of moving to Canada. In the film I felt he trusted frank to much. Over all i give it 41/2 stars. I recommend to people who enjoy romantic films.
Good fantasy. Not like the book and the cast was good, Will smith is the only one who seemed out of place. Scenes felt rushed. A good portion of details were missing. It's a feel good film and I don't discourage seeing it. Critics are just bullies with sense of making films for themselves for once. Go see it.
Best performance by Judi Dench. A wonderfully written true story about Philomena Lee and Martin Sixsmith played by Steve Coogan who also wrote the screenplay. Oscar gold. Don't miss out.
Honest and true story of bravery and survival and brotherhood. Your eyes will fill up with tears. Must see film of year.
Beautiful and heart felt independent film about belonging to some one. A great comeback role for Joaquin Phoenix. Truly talented cast. Essentially Spike Jonze shows the viewers his love letter and a wonderful piece of literature. All around just brilliant.
An extraordinary and inspiring tale of a musician struggling to keep an apartment and as well to make money. True Coen bothers style with a yet another unique gift for story telling.
Very beautiful true story about the women behind my favorite on screen musical Mary poppins with powerful performances by tom hanks and Emma Thompson. A must see picture.
Flawless. Martin Scorsese has done again.
Brilliant storyline,excellent cast,and great direction.
Funny even though it only took 9 years to come up with a sequal. Ron has never been classier.
The greatest story of a thief you'll let steal your attention for two hours.
