The 12th Man (2017)
Excellent movie. Production harkens back to traditional action moves, but it works. The limited use of dream sequences to fill in background it s bit clutzy at times, but it also "works." Excellent acting all around. The temper tantrums by the Gestapo office seem a bit much. I liked how the old, white reindeer became a hero, too, saving the hero when the humans had failed.

The Ottoman Lieutenant (2017)
This movie had dreams of being far better than it was. Failure to honestly portray the prevailing historic event of this region, the Armenian Genocide, is the fuse that lights this bombs fate. Unlikely trip to the end of the world by a young girl, situational blindness and odd motivation of main actors made this a case where the intent of the financiers sank the dreams of the movie artisans.

The Imitation Game (2014)
My choice for Best Picture. Well written, well acted , well directed. It stayed close enough to true story to get bonus points there, too. Superb story of one of the historical events that changed the world, but which gets very little focus.
