I guess i'm in a minority, and I so didnt want to be, seeing as how the star's a landsman. but what the film has going against it more than anything else is the hype. you come expecting to see superhero citizen kane and it's kinda ... meagre (?). yeah, gadot's real cute and believable but she has some really bad lines (all you ned is love?). and let's face it, the script is way below the level of acting, directing (well, to a point - if they'd REALLY wanted this to be a more touching personal story kinda approach, the director really SHOULD have worked more with her actors), fx (seen it, been there) etc. same old background story, same old figure-2-emulate dying, same old, same old. even the villain doesnt really manage to create enough hate in the viewer. kinda wasted expectations.
