Monkey Shines (1988)
Interesting, smart and fun horror thriller done with Romero's bold stroke and lots of layered subtlety

A Merry Friggin' Christmas (2014)
We all LOVE Robin Williams and the rest of the cast are no slouches either, unfortunately, they are all wasted in this lazy, cliched mess. Dysfunctional family at the holidays has been done and done again, if you haven't got enough of it, there are many, many better options out there

Last Passenger (2013)
Stylishly low budget, a great (albeit by the numbers) minimalist indie thriller. A fun ride to the end of line with an able cast (and what may be one of the most beautiful women ever in Kara Tointon)

Shivers (1975)
A low budget schlockfest that nonetheless is definitely Cronenberg and begins the exploration of his special type of frightening.

Comforting Skin (2011)
Dark and discomfiting and shot with gritty and beautiful visuals, but it's not for everyone. There is a definite target demographic for this film and I honestly can't see it appealing to a deep vertical.
