I think Aronofsky read small parts of the Bible then the LotR's, watched Conan The Barbarian, fell asleep and had a fever dream about Wicca and then made this dumpster fire of a film
After his wife and daughter are robbed and assaulted resulting in his wife being killed and his daughter in a coma, a doctor (Willis) takes it upon himself to exact revenge on those responsible. Doesn't have the grittiness or the realism of the original but is a decent remake.
A silly, uneven, highly inaccurate and frankly unabashedly biased look into the rise of Dick Cheney to the office of Vice President of the United States. Adam McKay should just stick to riding the more talented coattails of Will Ferrell and not flush Hollywood's money down the toilet
A choppy documentary about Jane Fonda and her life. Her misguided hypocritical activism, how it ruined her career and ultimately how she had to make workout tapes and sleep with a billionaire to stay relevant.
More of the same, thinly veiled attempt to bash religion and conservatives. Not worth the time unless those two things do interest you.
A decent cast and a terrific, original premise about an alternate history in which America has formed a holiday created by "The New Founding Fathers" called the Purge in which for 12 hours once a year all crime is legal including murder. The story focuses on one family who stays inside their fortified home for the Purge and attempt to survive the outside forces who want in. Despite the good cast a couple of characters do get on one's nerves but overall it's a decent film.
Some decent action scenes, sort of captures the feel of the video game. The Rock is charismatic as always. Worth a watch on a night when you're bored.
When tragedy strikes Deadpool he goes on a quest to better himself (which goes extremely well). He attempts to help a young mutant who's been targeted by a mutant from the future who goes by the name Cable. He forms an X team of his own (which goes extremely well, lol). It all turns out good in the end and Deadpool learns a lesson... (not really) a great sequel and I hope we get more.
A man attempts to get his wife to a hospital after she is bitten by a zombie but he crashes his car and recieves a bite of his own. Now he has 48 hours to get his infant daughter to safety while crossing the Australian outback avoiding the dead and other obstacles before he succumbs to the virus.
