The movie was actually very entertaining. It's a Disney Movie, so most - if not all - of their movies are generally watchable without being too boring. However, Frozen has a few too many musical numbers. Like in Tangled there were just a few and the story flowed on as it should be. But Frozen felt more like a musical than a normal Disney movie. But kids like the singing, so I guess that's a good thing. If you're an adult who enjoys the storyline with some singing sprinkled, then this might appeal to your tastes. Still - it's at least worth ONE playthrough.
It's a Tyler Perry movie. They don't bring anything new to the table at all, but it does bring in a nice jolt of entertainment value. As usual, they take common "real people" problems and spell them out for you so you can learn a lesson. I honestly thought the formula was overrated, but it works well for South Park. . . And it works well for Tyler Perry too, apparently.
At first I kept going "This is dumb. This is dumb. Wow is that little girl serious? She's so dumb. Wow. Dumb." But as the mobile reached the halfway mark it become more and more interesting. It was pretty generic too in terms of an action movie. Good guy does something to save something/someone. Bad guy makes it personal. Good guy fights for two reasons now! Yeah, basically that.
Though it is worth a watch despite it being a cliche.
I was surprised by this. I'm not even a fan of modern day horror movies or suspense flicks, yet it grabbed my attention. Instead of using grossness to creep you out, it uses good old fashioned jump scares and overall creepiness without being straightforward. The story is told fairly well too, with a build up that leads to something worthwhile and also a worthwhile ending.
This movie is essentially the baby of an obscene comedy mixed with jokes a teenager would find amusing. Though I was able to appreciate the movie's content, because when you think about it. . . There aren't many raunchy comedies featuring a female. It essentially turned what was going to be a romcom into something that's outrageous and entertaining regardless of gender. Though if you have a taste for "clean humor" and "wholesome values" then you should steer clear of this movie. . . With a title like "Dirty Love" it should be a given as to what this movie is about. The first word in the title states it clearly.
