I loved this movie as a kid. I just rewatched it today and I have to say that it's not nearly as enjoyable. The premise is decent (Machines try to take over the world), but the execution is not so good. It has some really bad acting and a very bad script. The soundtrack by AC/DC makes it sound good. It was filmed entirely in North Carolina around the Wilmington area. I would label this a "cult classic" because it is overall silly, but still fun too watch.
This is an interesting "sequel" that follows up to the 2010 remake. But it is pretty stupid. It has way too many flashback scenes to the original and the story is really bad. Not that the first one was great, but at least is was a lot more watchable than this one.
Overall bad movie. It starts off slow and then gets a little better half way through, but the ending will leave you very disappointed. It just doesn't make any sense why they keep driving around in circles.
This is a really good documentary about a musician that made it big in South Africa, but was long forgotten in the US. I definitely enjoyed this documentary and his music. It's almost a tragedy, but ultimately will leave the viewer satisfied and you get to hear some good music that you've never heard.
This is one of the best stand up specials that I've ever seen. The critics are so wrong. There are some jokes that will offend people that are easily offendable. But Chappelle dances on controversial topics and made me laugh. Quit taking life so serious and don't be afraid to laugh.
This really is one of the best comedy specials that I've ever scene. I've watched it 4 times.
This movie is definitely a Black Comedy that has some funny moments, but I ultimately really didn't care that much for it. I'm a big fan of Danny McBride and he does a pretty good job with his character.
Very cool movie by the Rian Johnson (Yes, the guy that ruined The Last Jedi). It definitely makes you think and worth a repeat viewing. Jeff Daniels is really good as the mob boss.
Worth a watch for any fan of Clint Eastwood. It's not going down as one of his best films, but it's still entertaining.
This was a really good movie and helped explain some things post Endgame. Great special effects and the writers did a good job of putting Mysterio into the MCU. Any fan of Spider-man needs to watch this movie. Also, it has 2 of the best post credit end scenes for any MCU movie.
This is a MUST see for any fan of Tarantino movies. It is definitely slow paced, but DiCaprio shines in it as Rick Dalton. Brad Pitt is equally amazing as Cliff Booth. The Sharon Tate story is the only thing that I thought was just okay, but it needs to be there because of the historical content of the movie's subject matter. It has plenty of laughs, amazing attention to detail with the 1969 sets and perfectly placed songs. I've seen it 2 times and I can't wait to see it again.
I will start my review off with the fact that I'm NOT a fan of the Fast & Furious movies. This one looked to be a little different from the trailers. i have to say I didn't like this movie. It's silly over the top action. It has 2 forced cameos by Kevin Hart and Ryan Reynolds. It felt like it wanted to be part Black Panther and all garbage. If you like to have a terrible story with bad acting and over the top action then be sure to check this one out.
This is a REALLY cool movie with the special effects and visuals. The story is average, but still a lot of fun. It has a TON of action. The ending kind of leaves it open for a sequel and left me unsatisfied.
It definitely is an original idea that is interesting, but left me kind of empty with a lot of questions that were never answered. It' really not that scary, but more creepy. It's probably worth another watch at some point, but I'm in no hurry to go and watch it again. The 94% on RT is way to generous for this interestingly okay film...The audience score of 62% is more on target.
PT Anderson used to make REALLY good movies, but his last couple (including this one) have really lost me. They are boring, convoluted and ultimately leave this view very unsatisfied. Josh Brolin is really good as detective "Bigfoot". I did like a couple parts of the movie, but I was really bored and came very close to turning it off a few times.
Very Interesting story with a Great performance by McConaughey. But the execution of the story is pretty boring and really not that interesting until the final 20 minutes.
Decent movie with some top notch actors in Bale and Isaac. The movie itself is just okay. It does shed light on the Armenian Genocide that most people aren't very familiar with.
The Soundtrack is a Solid 5 out of 5, but the movie is really bad. The acting by Prince and Appollonia is atrocious. Prince is an all time great musician and performer, but his acting is BAD! The music is awesome and arguably Prince's best album ever.
Pretty good performance by the legendary Robert Redford in what is supposed to be his final film. It' not going down as one of his all time great performances. It will probably bore a lot of people due to it's very slow paced story line.
All Time Classic coming-of-age baseball movie! I loved this movie when I saw it when I was 16 and it still holds up today. It's funny, touching and a whole lot of fun.
One of the best Animated Super-Hero films that I've ever seen. It is funny, has a great story and is also very heart warming at the same time. It has some really cool animation.
