This is an "I'm snowed in for 3 days and ran out of stuff to watch" movie. No plot. Just people (most of them annoying) standing in the same room talking for an hour and a half. Had there been a decent ending it wouldn't have sucked so bad, but it didn't. You just sit there waiting to find out the who, what, when, where, and whys, but you never do.
I loved it. The movie took risks, which is more than I can say for the Marvel movies these days. It's not perfect, but you have to take it for what it is- a movie.
Nothing mind blowing. If you're expecting realistic animals and epic nature shots, you'll be disappointed (as I was). The CGI still looks fake. I saw it in 3D at the Imax, and it was nothing special. It's the closest to a realistic version of the story, but talking animals look fake either way. Also there were alot of parents with children walking out because of the violence. But I was mainly disappointed at how fake everything looked.
