Half of the movie is a excuse for a cheap romance between fake characters. The other half is gore, noise and chaos. The camera work seems to have been done by a guy with Parkinsons.
Overall, this movie is like a war: Feels endless, you don't know what the hell is happening, who is winning, and you only stay there to see if your side won.
I'm conflicted. It wasn't terrible nor great. This movie it's like a 3 hour dream that you try to remember but you vaguely have any memory of it. You just know that it happened. In a way, it has the most fitting title EVER.
I look at this movie as I look 007: Skyfall. It's the fight between oldschool and the new age. Guns vs. Hacks; Badass vs. Smartass.
And when Willis is on the oldschool side, epicness ensues.
