McVicar

½

The dedication to the role of John McVicar has to be respected here, Roger Daltery is clearly in great physical shape and immerses himself fully into the character, let's not forget he's the lead singer of The Who. The soundtrack is fantastic and is as close as you can get to The Who minus Keith Moon, John McVicar is now a respected writer and broadcaster, I feel the movie has dated slightly.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

A great dark gory musical that is great fun from beginning to end.

Michael Jackson's This Is It

A great unique film that documents the legendary Michael Jackson's final rehearsals, cleverly directed and put together by Kenny Ortega.

The Godfather, Part II

The second obviously can't stand alone without the first or third but remains my favourite Godfather. I like the development of Michael's character at this point and enjoy the appearance of De Niro as Don Corleone, love it.

The Dictator

The dictator for me was much better than bruno but just off Borat standard, a step in a new direction being completely scripted, got much more about it than meets the eye initially.
