Quirky, inventive and extremely violent. Not really laugh out loud funny, but clever enough and surprising with great characters. Don't take it too seriously and you will have a good time.
Yet another fantastic Bond Flick. Fans will not be disappointed. See it on the big screen!
No one has a slight opinion about this film. Many seem to disregard it a s merely shock and gore for their own sake, but I really enjoyed it. It was hard to watch. Painful even. The most outrageous thing I have ever seen. It defintely breaks taboos that you would never have even considered. DeSade would be proud. Still, despite coming away from it totally wrung out emotionally, I couldn't wait to see it again, if only to be sure that I just saw what I thought saw. It's not for everyone and I am loathe to recommend it to most folks, but I think it took a lot of hard work and dedication on the part of the crew to create this film and definitely broke new ground.
No one is going to forget the past few Tim Burton movies that were so horrible, but if you can block the last 12 years worth of crap out of your mind and give this film a shot, you will not be disappointed. The stop motion is flawless. The story is definitely heartwarming as the description says. I loved every minute of this one and would recommend it to everyone I know.
Excellent film that employs very unique storytelling methods that explore the lives, thought and actions of a variety of characters across many different places and times. It manages to weave the stories together quite well. It definitely demands all your attention. If you don't want to be challenged, I would advise against seeing this. I saw six people walk out on this film, but I suspect it was because they didn't have enough power of concentration, arrived late or were otherwise too distracted by text messages or their movie companions to "get it". I thoroughly enjoyed it and I would advise catching it in theaters if you have a chance. I only regret that it wasn't in an IMAX theater yet.
