Not that bad as I thought it would be. Glad I decided to watch it and looking forward to a possible sequel.

Typical Michael Bay style movie. Good action action and weak character development. You don't get to know and like these turtles the way you did in the original movie. Where is the bad guy development? No one stealing someone else's girlfriend? No one killing someone else's master? Where is the hate for the bad guy? Ok, you will have to see this if you are a TMNT fan, but if you want to go see a superhero movie at the theaters now, go see Guardians of the Galaxy instead. Just better all the way around.

Great all the way through. Great characters and much more fun to watch than The Avengers was. I will definitely add this one to my collection when it comes out on blu-ray.

I would like to thank Redbox again for another free rental email or else I would have had to wait a lot longer to see this movie. A big improvement over the first movie. I never read the books so this is all new to me. Great action and special effects throughout with some nice character development. It makes you hate the bad guys and root for the good guys more as the plot thickens. Hopefully they will rap this up in a third movie instead of stretching the last book into 2 parts like these other recent film series' have been doing to us. Good fun for the whole family.

Uggh! I bought this on blu-ray during the pre-holiday sales for $9.99. I had a hard time staying awake through it. Curse this Zack Snyder and his dark, moody crap directing (Watchmen, yuck). While Russel Crowe and the Krypton sequence was great, and Henry Cavill looks like a good Superman, this plot was so dark with too many jumps back and forth in time to make this movie enjoyable. I have to admit I liked Superman Returns and Brandon Routh more just because it had some similarities to the great Superman and Superman II movies and how Christopher Reeve played the part. I will try to watch it again sometime just to see if there are any great parts that I might have dozed off during, but if you are looking for a Superman fix, watch Superman II instead, which is a much better version of pretty much that same story.
