A meditation about a place and time. I don't for a minute buy Joan Allen as Native American or Sam Elliot as her husband, but if you can look past that there are some great performances and meditative moments.
Cliche melodrama that thinks American boarding schools are mean and nasty like British ones. Made worse by trying to have a bunch of adults play teenagers. First time I've seen Ed Burns give a bad performance (brought down by the script, no doubt) Nothing remotely suspenseful nor sexy about it.
Porn...without the good parts. Everyone involved in this should be embarrassed, from the sound recorder (if there even was one) to the famous writers (who wrote dialogue unworthy of a soap opera) to the actors (if there were any). I know that Ellis and Schrader just wanted to make a buck, and I regret the $1.30 I contributed through Red Box, I hope you don't make the same mistake.
This film justifies why both red and blue states hate Hollywood. Only a miscreant misogynist could have conceived of it. And did I mention the cinematography and sound are AWFUL?
If Sophie weren't FF's daughter this movie would never haVE BEEN MADE> At best it is a TV Movie of the Week with a little fake edge added. There is no character to like or root for, they are all looser s- just like their celebrity targets. Don't waste your time on this POSYou're better off watching Wife Swap.
