I found Creep to be very unsettling and pretty well done for the minimal cast and filming. The two leads do a good job but I wish Aaron was smarter in the end. Makes for a very unique little found footage film
Although I’m not a huge fan of RBG, Felicity Jones and Armie Hammer are plausible leads
Chapter 2 limps across the finish line with over the top special effects and forced performances. There were some nice scenes that stay humble to the source material, but everything was overdone. None of the cast seemed believable. You could tell none of them were on their game...yet most of them are talented people. I believe the direction is to blame. It’s amazing when a near 3 hour film doesn’t feel as if a plot is developing. I didn’t love chapter 1, but it got the job done. Chapter 2 is worth seeing once, but after that, it should go back on the shelf with the book
It was a good story led by two performances that obviously had the leads giving it their all. It doesn’t rank among the top of music biographies for me, but it gets the job done
