Richie Rich
Richie Rich(1994)

as exciting as it was

Miss Potter(2007)

The LEGO Movie

Why on earth is this movie popular?

Marie Antoinette

Seems the government was as broken as it is now in the 16th century.

Blue Is The Warmest Color

The debate on love. What should I say......

Thelma & Louise

Enjoyable everytime I watch it.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants

About Time
About Time(2013)

Boring, yet dreamy.

A Knight's Tale

What a pleasant movie with no surprises.

Piranha 3DD
Piranha 3DD(2012)

Even worse than Yonggari.

V for Vendetta

One of those movies that were underrated due to the title -- throws questions on justice, media, and how we use fear in our everyday lives.

Faces in the Crowd

Fascinating story, great acting, yet somewhat mistaken directing.

The Dreamers
The Dreamers(2004)

What a movie. Watched it in a very long time, and still enjoyed it. How the characters relate to each other(one American and two French) and how naive the French are, is a great metaphor on the actual international relationships in the 60s.

Silver Linings Playbook

Just another healing movie.

The Impossible

I'm a big fan of disaster movies, but this one's not really one of the masterpieces.

Before Sunset

Not as good as the one before. But still really good.

Before Sunrise

This movie is always wonderful. The scene on God.

Soul Surfer
Soul Surfer(2011)

I'm so grateful to have my two arms. Cliche, but loved it anyway.

Awwwwwwesome movie. Loved it.

The Great Gatsby

Christian Bale should have been Gatsby! The movie resembled Moulin Rouge, a lot.

Warm Bodies
Warm Bodies(2013)

This one's really good. Humerous, lovable, affective. -- at megabox with R

The Lives of Others

Effecting affections. She said this was a movie she wanted to see together, so I invited her home. After the ending credits, she said her life was effected as well... -- with roomie at home

The Devil's Advocate

Long time no see -- with roomie at home

The Greatest
The Greatest(2010)

Dad's choice. Loved it. Gotta see it again. -- wih mom, dad at home

Life of Pi
Life of Pi(2012)

Ang Lee of Brokeback Mountain. Exquisitely vivid colors. Wonderfully beautiful kids. Irrational names. Enchanting spiritual experience. Astonishing storytelling on survival. Breath-taking moments, yet nothing one can do upon the greatness of Mother Nature. No roomie. -- with mommy and daddy at home

Love Me if You Dare

Scratch, scratched, hurt, hurt, ...

Julie & Julia

Really loved Meryl Streep in this movie! Moreover, the husbands in this movie are so adorable and lovable... ^^

The Back-up Plan

Hmm... A real time killer. Lack of thought, or even romance.

Roomie's style movie. Kinda slept through a part, but liked it in whole. -- with roomie at dorm.

Groundhog Day

I'd call this movie "Family Man 2". I wish I could live todyay over and over... Second chances every day. -- with roomie at dorm.

Upside Down
Upside Down(2013)

Omg omg omg...... I think i've gone crazy for Jim Sturgess!

How different is reality and fantasy? A movie that goes well with Chopin Nocturne Op 9 No 1. Really loved the actings... -- with roomie at dorm

Mr. Nobody
Mr. Nobody(2013)

A movie about 'choices', and their consequences. Hmm. -- with roomie at dorm.

Italian for Beginners

The seventh Dogma. My first Denmark.

Reality Bites

Gotta see this movie again.
# You see Lainie, all we need is smokes, a cup of coffee, and some conversation. You and me and five bucks. -- Life and its voidness.

In Bruges
In Bruges(2008)

Oooh... A very well made movie. The whole plot was rather "incongruous". The fact that Collin Farrell killed two people, and only felt guilty about accidently killing the child but not about purposely killing the priest. The fact that he wanted to live, but willingly would have accepted death... (a feeling that I can so deeply imagine.) What was above all interesting, was that the figures in the movie all pursuited their beliefs, more than anything else. Just as in Les Miserables, that I've seen several days ago.

Les MisÚrables

All the charcters in this movie sacrifices his/her life, rather to defend ones' virtues. -- with C at Megabox COEX

A Werewolf Boy

Thought I would like to have one of those werewolves...>_<... But the plot wasn't such a well written one. My roomie and I also thought the ending was kinda hilarious kkkkk ("Hey, no kiss scenes with Grandma?!") -- with roomie at room

To Rome with Love

Nice romantic < comedy. Especially like the Woody Allen character. -- with roomie at room.

We're just too intellectually naive for this movie... -- at dorm with roomie

Cloud Atlas
Cloud Atlas(2012)

If this movie was written as an academic paper, it would never have been published. (Too many things that the Wachowskis want to say!) Though, the story itself was fascinating. Definitely want to see the movie again. + Liked the ending credit that resembled the json format. -- with roomie at Lotte Cinema SNU

I've never really liked this series. Nothing special. -- with roomie at room

Lullaby for Pi

What a fascinating movie... on love, friendship, and coincidence. The magical atmosphere of the movie lingers... With roomie at dorm.

The Hurt Locker

A movie that beautifies warfare. (Actually, there was this scene where my roomie and I so much agreed that Jeremy Runner's hips were extraordinary... Seen 11d ago with roomie at dorm.)

Running Scared

Pumpin adrenalin! Geez what a blasting movie. (Whoops. Just realized that if you change your ratings, the date changes as well... Saw this movie at home with Mom & Dad last weekend or so.)

Battle: Los Angeles

At dorm with roomie. A typical Hollywood action movie. Good to see Harvie (from The Dark Knight) again.

The story really doesn't make any sense! No rationales to phenomena or whatsoever.

My roommate and I ordered a pizza, watched this movie, and kinda slept through it. kk. Nice to take a peek at the 90s of Scotland and the early twenties of Ewan McGregor.

Bagdad Cafe
Bagdad Cafe(1988)

"There's nothing tragic, cause it's all magic."
What a lovely film.... (This movie kinda reminds me of another film 'Thelma and Louise'.)

A movie, best fit for the holiday season. Bohemian spirits everywhere! (...and tomorrow's election day in Korea...) -- with roomie at dorm

The Man From Earth

Felt about the same amount of astonishment as the time I've seen this movie four years ago(2008-11-10). Still think the plot is very interesting (which give a whooping five-stars), but technically and aesthetically, this movie lacks a lingering image (which loses half a star).

This movie gives you the chance to seriously think over human history, in religious means. I personally recommend it to all friends.

Home Alone
Home Alone(1990)

Home Alone, home alone.

All About My Wife

1. It's been 33 days since I've seen my last movie.
2. I've been sick the past couple of days, while being stressed out with deadlines and getting no work done.
3. I had no interest in this movie when it was at the box office, especially because of the provocative catch phrase and the indecent poster.
4. But a good friend of mine, a.k.a. Kimflix, has recommended this movie to me, and that, and the fact I was too sick to even hold and read a book were the only two reasons I started watching this movie; I just thought it would be a nice way to goof around.
5. Nevertheless, I was shaken; this movie was way out of my shallow expectations ; currently I'm really not sure how to rate this movie, nor how to feel about it.
6. The heroine's natural, no makeup look was an acute choice in the aspects of directing.
7. I'll think I'll try watching the movie again, sooner or later. Maybe I'll be able to rate the movie after a second watch.

Kill Bill: Volume 1

With roomie at room. Interesting movie - especially because of all the extraordinary effects - but just not really my type. Originally 3/10 pts, but a boost of 2pts for general amusement.

Get's a bit hilarious to the end. Though, it was nice seeing Izzy (from Grey's Anatomy) and Kevin's mom (from Home Alone) back on the screens.

A Lot Like Love

A quite nice popcorn movie. Not much to expect, but if you like Ashton Kutcher, you'd be stunned by him from time to time...
