Berta's Review of My Neighbor Totoro
My Neighbor Totoro(1988)
It's impressive, it's visually rewarding, it's downright magnificent, and it has the world's biggest furball interacting with two little girls. What more could you want? The great thing about this film is that it lets things be natural. The little girls act like little girls, and not like babyfaced adults, Totoro, while furry and nice, could (if he wanted to) be powerful and a little scary, and the stoyline chugs along according to its own pace. And the best thing about it: THE CATBUS!
This merits two great big thubs up. Too anyone who hasn't seen it yet: Watch it. NOW. Its worth it.
