A somewhat (all been done before) comes to mind for this film, Will Smith is just Will Smith and his box office draw these days seems somewhat limited, but its script appears wafer-thin, and it leaves the viewer lost, and unfulfilled, This might have been a better TV series than a film, but as it is, it has wasted a vast amount of money with a very poor result
I rather liked this B Horror movie from 1961.An early film of Roy Scheider. Basically a bullying husband and father dies, and orders that for 12 months those set to inherit must carry out his wishes or they will not inherit.
Problem is that they fail to and one by one they die. There is a twist in the end. And the acting is rather good. At the time of release it was panned but it has aged well as a period piece.
Awful, just awful. Why does anyone think ex-wrestlers can act? They ruin films and in this case, better casting may have made something of this awful mess.
An interesting and creepy horror, a father and husband bullies his wife and abuses his daughter who he has sexual attractions for, After prolonged abuse, they decide to kill him by overdosing him with sleeping tablets, he then fakes his death and they dispose of the body, problem is he then comes back to punish them, a very sad ending, and although ,a well-acted good film, it could have done so much more with the ending.
