I was hesitant to see this movie to begin with. Robert DeNiro directing a Matt Damon film, well all I have to say is...superb. When watching it you take into consideration the review on the back of the box, "Godfather of C.I.A. movies." While watching, it is easy to pick up why the review was made. It shares some scenes and ideas with Godfather. Acting was great! It may have seeded Matt Damon as one of my favorite actors

A movie, I thought to be stupid and immature quickly found it's path to funny and entertaining. Quick wit is what made this movie stink less than it should have.

Rocky Balboa

Rocky Balboa was a movie I thought would make me shiver, thinking that it was actually another Rock Movie. It was actyually made half decent, and Sly didn't do a half-bad job. For an end to one of the worlds biggest franchises, I was a little dissapointed, but if you listen to the commentary, his thoughts on why he did what he did are clear...

Children of Men's story was different then the stories we see in movies today. It is something you would think to see around the time of Mad Max, but it's not. The acting was incredible, well made movie.

I wanted to give this movie a zero. The truth is, it has no originality what so ever. The writing and directiong is by the book. I don't know what genre this is but until the last 10 minutes I felt as if it were trying to be a comedy. I give it the one and a half for entertainment reasons, but there was just nothing else to like.

I look now at the more like this list and see: Red Eye, Rear Window, When A Stranger Calls, American Beauty, and Natural Born Killers.

I can't say must for When A Stranger Calls, but movies like 'NBK' are once in a life time movies, completely original. How this movie is anything like these, I don't know.
