I think the critics blew it on this one, I enjoyed the movie and found it engaging. It's not a documentary, it's a drama. I thought the casting was great and I'm glad they didn't try to pack it with alot of the details you might find in documentary. It left me wanting to learn more about these guys, so it did it's job in that respect. I wasn't ready to part with the characters.
Far better than I was expecting, and a solid movie. The shaky came wasn't nearly as shaky as many of these found footage type movies and I think that was a big factor. It was a little slow in the beginning, but I can see why they needed to sell you on their relationship and Derek's situation early on for the decisions that come later to be plausible. Not sure why this is rated 60% by users, because it was far better than that in my opinion. You can do alot worse , that's for sure.
What a crappy movie, haha. Man decides to rob bank to meet teller girl... I'm supposed to believe this guy is somehow a bright guy ? If you bought the basic premise of this movie without rolling your eyes, you deserve to watch it endlessly for eternity.
I'm not gonna say this movie doesn't have it's flaws and slow points, but it's not as bad as the reviews are saying. It had some great potential in terms of story/concept, but it was just too slow and jumped around too much in my opinion. Seems to me that this mute lady could have done a much better job of communicating to them about the 18th and it's meaning. Also find it hard to believe that some intense investigation of the house wouldn't result in some really good answers as to who they were and why they were there. And if you did take this antidote and it knocks you out cold, wouldn't you tie a frigging note or something around your neck to explain to yourself what happened ?? haha But, even despite all that, it had potential and there were aspects like the guy on the barbed wire fence that were quality scenes. Took a quality idea and just didn't execute it well. :/
Hilarious movie, haven't heard this kind of laughter in a theater since Something About Mary. Danny McBride almost steals the movie completely as he was shoveling out the Kenny Powers vibe. Instant Classic.
