Planet of the Apes

By far one of the most innovative films I've ever watched. Sure it may have a pretty simple concept of men going into space then landing on a mysterious planet, which turned out to be Earth, but it was all so great and set a standard for other aspiring writers for something similar.
It was also very though-provoking, assuming you're human, to see your own kind treated like a wild beast by anthropomorphized apes. It made me think, like the move King Kong did, to how animals are treated to us.
Overall, definitely worth the watch. I just wish I hadn't known of the suspense of the world being Earth beforehand.

Scream 3
Scream 3 (2000)

Scream 3 was a well-done film that deserves it's place as the end of a trilogy. I found it rather entertaining despite some things in the plot that could have been done better, but still most of it is well-done.
The use of it's original actors is a definite plus.
It still has some clever aspects to it as well, such as trying to follow a formula for the end of the trilogy.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2

½

A movie that's less scary than the original. Trobe Hooper directing an writing it is what makes it a decent sequel. Takes place in a town/abandoned amusement park(correct me if I'm wrong) to take on a different feel than the isolated home the first TCM had. I liked it overall with it's plot. It's character's knowledge is what I question. I wonder if IQ scores actually dropped since the last film, because their actions is something I questioned for half of the movie and felt like the story did most of the telling instead of the characters.
Overall, perhaps worth a watch if you have the time.
