This isn't a bad movie but is a huge disappointment when it comes to murder mystery movies. You expect to be surprised or have an exciting plot twist and yet this movie was very predictable, one of the reasons why they told you who the killer was in the beginning of the movie as if this was going to throw you off and not allow you to pick up on who really was pulling all the strings. Which by the way becomes very clear early on as well. It is a somewhat entertaining movie with interesting storylines but sadly very very predictable.
Even better than the episode 1 and 2 and I liked both those movies. While at times I felt some of the acting was a little high school drama it didn't take away from the transformation we see in Anakin and how he is easily being pulled to the Darkside. We see him struggle with Love over Power and lose to power. In an epic final battle sequence, we watch the Empire and the Sith destroy the Jedi and Rebellion. Obi-wan and Anakin have one of the best battles in the Star Wars movies and yet at times I still really love the Episode 1 final fight between Qui-gon Jinn and Obi-wan vs Darth Maul. But not to be left out in episode 3 we see Mace Windu vs Emperor Palpatine in a brilliant battle scene. And Yet while the jedi battle scenes are far better in these origin story movies all three fall just short of the original trilogy BUT a must watch for any Star Wars fan. Episodes 1 - 6 are the best watch the new Episodes 7 thru 9 will greatly disappoint and make you hate Disney for killing Stars Wars for every. A glimmer of Hope with the Solo film and Rogue one, both solid movies with room for growth in the new Solo Franchise.
This was a good movie while you feel like you have to get to know Anakin again and you do quickly see how is easily subdued by love and Padme. We get to see where Anakin powers are at and how the Clone army is created and which brings some fun fight scenes with Obi-wan and Jango Fett. The fight scenes at the end finally bring in that Jedi chaos that we have been waiting for with a host of Jedi fighting side by side. And in the end we get to see our favorite Master Jedi Yoda show of some skills of his own. This definitely better than Episode One but still not reaching the level of the Original trilogy.
Well if you know of the originals then you understand where this movie must take you. With that said Young Anakin Skywalker acting is a little high school drama-is at times, the big race in the middle of the film really slows down the movie and you are left wondering when will it end. The fight for Nabu is ok, but trying to create different accents in language for different creatures can leave you wondering if you hear what they said and at times can take away from the film. The main story line is fine and the final Jedi verse Sith battle is one of the best but the end is almost episode 4 like and yet remember they did just win a large battle for their planet so I get it. Over all I liked the movie, it's not as bad as everyone seems to believe and I would watch is any day of the week of the newest movies episodes 7,8, and 9.
This wasn't a bad movie and for the most part I liked it. If this was the first time we were seeing Dumbo and there was no other story or movie, this would be a really good movie that would get 4 for 4.5 stars. But this is a updated live action version of the Classic Disney cartoon and it fell a little short with me. So of the best parts of the cartoon Dumbo are the songs and scenes that take place with Dumbo getting drunk and while they tried to cover those is a way that was maybe more realistic then in a cartoon I feel they didn't need to make those scenes more believable or realistic because they still made and elephant fly and have ears the flapped like wings. You can have live action and still have a talking mouse which was none existent in this movie in fact the only time the mouse appears is a tiny nod to the circus mouse in the beginning and then you don't see the mouse ever again. Very disappointing. So is it good enough to watch, yes, but will you choose this new version over the original cartoon? No way, it just doesn't hold that power.
