Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas

One of the best holiday movies comes to life thanks to Brian Grazer, Ron Howard and the outstanding Jim Carrey. This is one of my favorite holiday movies of all-time, and funny too. Great set decoration, great make-up and special effects, they're spectacular, good directing, and once again another grand preformance by Carrey that yet again earns him another well-deserved golden globe nod. but unfortunately yet again snuffed by the drunk and/or high academy award voters.

Quite suspenseful and keeps you wondering how the movie will end. Kathy Bates is really fucked up, weird and creepy, an obsessed book fan of James Caan. I will warn you the ending is a bit disappointing.

The Pink Panther

Very funny and quite enjoyable, with an interesting twist in the end about the mystery. Two of my favorite genres in one, mystery/comedy. Steve should get nominated for a globe for this. Beyonce is such a terrible actress.

Powerful and emotional. This story is fantasically told by Oliver Stone, who is one of the greatest filmmakers of all-time, where someone else could've went a different and probably worse way than Stone did. Preformances were all great and touching and same with how the story was told. Great sound, special effects and set decorations. If this film doesn't get nominated for some oscars, I will be pissed. One of the best movies of the year. World Trade Center was a powerful, capitivating experience.

At first I thought, why would this low-budget piece get nominated for best movie comedy or musical at the globes, but now I can see why, well-deserving. It's a true to life story that deals with so many events that many ordinary people go through. And shows the real effects and conclusions of them, where in a big-budget Hollywood movie, everything might have been solved. Great preformances by the entire cast, especially by Jeff Daniels and Laura linney, their chemistry together is great. The movie was well-written and is one of a kind, funny too and emotional. It was great.
