The book is one of my favourites, but the movie is certainly not. The acting is laughable and unlike in the book, there is hardly no character development at all. Somehow, once again, the American media managed to make this movie a tragic love story instead of a fight to survive like in the book. Absolutely terrible.

Now You See Me

Film was going wonderfully until the ending, where you realize that gaping plot holes lie through the movie, but stays true to the motto of the movie: the harder you look, the less you see

Silver Linings Playbook

Great movie but probably didn't deserve the amount of awards it got. Despite that, it was quirky, fun, with a fantastic cast (probably not Oscar-worthy though, Lawrence) which made this movie one of my favourites of 2012.

The Kids Are All Right

Though the sex scenes are awkward, the Kids are all Right portrays family life in a modern, realistic way where you can't help but relate it to your own situations which you face in modern day life. Julianne Moore fantastic as was the rest of the cast - also liked how Hutcherson was in the movie not just because of his acting but because of his support with gay rights - and was one of my favourite movies in 2010 for sure.
