It isn't often that I see a movie twice. For Aladdin 2019, I did, and would have gone a third, fourth, and fifth time if I could. While One Jump Ahead was problematic and the style for Jasmine's Speechless was a little distracting, I genuinely adored this movie. I didn't expect to, as I adored the original 1992 version. However, while watching it, I was pleasantly surprised to find how great it was. It seemed much more developed than the animated film, fleshing out the characters, world, and plot. Naomi Scott's Jasmine was one of the highlights. Her character arc in the film was excellently executes. Jafar was an intimidating villain, and I liked that they made him so similar to Aladdin. The action was amazing. Aladdin and Jasmine's had a lot of chemistry. Overall, I adored this film and look forward to watching it many more times.
