I loved this rendering of a story that has been told once a generation. Lady G acts her ass off, and I feel that she and Mr Cooper gave us the same intensity of connection as previous generation actors brought.
I really had fun with this one. Great use of Will’s easy body humor. Worth it. I wish I had seen in 3d because I could imagine that ride.
Great movie. Didn’t feel like I was missing a lot because I haven’t seen the whole catalog (saw first film) Sweet. Smart.
Super cute concept. Tried to be too much and lost some focus at the end.
I love this movie. The music is a touchstone for our young people when it is so needed. I don’t put a lot of focus on this musical being an accurate retelling of the truth of ptbarnum and the (often horrific) choices he made and... I LOVE this movie
Sweet. It didn't seem overplayed or caricature-ish, but I am not from these cultures. Will watch again.
I loved this movie. It gets juvenile and silly, but I like this actors together.
Saw in 3D and the effects were great, story was good... but in general the unfolding of the story was a bit slow. Lots of pregnant pauses and moments that could have been trimmed to bring this to under 2 hours.
Yes, it may a bit predictable, but the actors shift the expected to interesting. Sweet and challenging and worth a tear.
I loved this. I loved the characters and the cast. As good as they say.
Fun and funny. Well done.
Not what I expected, but fun if not a tad over the top.
Touching. Funny. Kept me interested with a very small cast - all of whine I cared about.
As the "god is not dead" movies continue to pile up, this is one that, while subtly preachy, is easy to digest and touching. Once I realized what this movie was, I let go and went on the ride.
I was reluctant to see because I am not a horror movie fan, but there is enough humor and subtle winks to the audience to make this really fun.
OMG. It was like watching two titans spar and dance with each other. The supporting cast was right on and Denzel starring and directing... an amazing triumph.
I liked it. The premise was fun way to do a musical, actors were good. Not something I need to see several times, almost got lost at the ending but it was sweet.
