The trio comes back again for another well directed and edited police movie. Supporting cast is excellent and adds their best to the humor and fun. Story is strong and believable and honest leading to great acting that brings emotions into the raw. The 'wounds' are one of the best chat-up scenes, seen in a movie. Nibbles: Turkey Burger and Green Salad.
Well written and executed by the actors makes this a very believable film. The strong cinematography captures the essence of the situation magnificently making for a entertaining hour and a half. The film is realistic with more actuality as it deals with family and collaborators. One is reminded of WWII war films with a deeper twist. British slap stick comedy is revealed in all its glory with plenty of tongue in cheek moments. As one of the actors puts it - running around blowing things up, well sick. It turned out to be a very worthwhile film to watch, suitable for the whole family. The depth of the acting, especially Gillian Anderson puts most big spend blockbusters to shame, as does the quality of the robots and spaceships etc. The locations are also exceptional and worth seeing this movie for the view. Nibbles: Iced fruit cake.
The film starts interestingly with some music that has the usual depth one expects from a film from the Netherlands. Acting is strong with great characterisation and emotions that is compelling throughout. The lighting and photographic artistry is to be complemented but is spoiled by the overuse of the shaky camera syndrome in the beginning which thankfully got less as the movie progressed. The story is not unique and has lots of the usual clichés, such as beating up transport police etc. Music is typical modernist as one gets use to in such films however, does add depth to the situations as they appear on screen. Entertaining for teenagers and the artistic. Nibbles: Carrots with dip.
If you are not depressed and frustrated the likelihood is that you may be after watching this movie. Actors put in very realistic performances giving the characters an obnoxious feel that makes this movie tick. Overall the movie comes across as a stressed out shouting match between sisters and friends that ruin the worst wedding seen on screen. Nibbles: Whisked Sponge Cake
Nothing, like the bloodied slaughter, of NYC Police to ensure that the movie will be thrilling and emotional and worth the time to watch and enjoy. Strong feelings are part of the characterization by the actors, which is done overly dramatically ensuring lots of rage and thought. There is nothing like a bunch of bad police to upset the balance and twist society into mayhem. Nibbles: Victoria Sandwich
Cinematography is of a pleasing standard highlighting the strangeness of the world. Actors create a strong and believable group of survivors with strong ideals allowing for a dynamic that makes this film intriguing to watch. CGI makes an unobtrusive setback for the sets and space flight making the fantasy a unique experience for the action. Nibbles: Thai Beef
The story is spoilt by the empty pathetic and rather dull lead lady who is supposed to be intelligent yet is really quite stupid with no common sense. This makes for a script that is full of the usual Americanization's and obvious story line that fails to become anything more than childish. As such this movie is for children who should enjoy. Nibbles: Fish fingers and fries
Rip out your heart and give it a good thumping then you may be in the right mode for the following. The truthful brutality of the murder is heartrending and clearly shows that the human condition is still a challenge. Acting is simple yet fits the context well conveying the pain and suffering. The slowness of UN to do anything practical quickly comes across well. Nibbles: Ugali and Cabbage.
Bloody slaughter of Americans always comes across well with Tarantino. Superb cinematography shows another side to bloodlust that one does not normally see in lesser made movies. If a motorcycle fan, this film has lots to offer and gives great accounts of there feel and sound. Lots of debauchery, swearing and sex, alas no men on men sex which is the films only shortcoming. Nibbles: Fruits in alcohol.
You really and honestly should not take this movie as a typical Hawaiian 'oliday, if you actually avoid the resorts and Oahu the vacation can be second to none, especially if you go to the Big Island. The acting and script is rather formatted so do not expect too much. Views of the Pacific are rather nice especially if watching whilst living in a city. Nibbles: Pineapple and Cheese.
Cinematography is very stylish giving a superb image that enhances the sets and the actors. Actors give a master class in intimate depiction causing this to be a must see movie. Script is clearly written and portrays the years of repetitive monotony broken by the spark of an idea that may give release. Simple, is always the best idea for any situation. Nibbles: Roast Fillet of Beef.
If you are an old man who dreams of sex with a young woman, or are a young woman who dreams of sex with an older man then this movie is for you. Add in some refined artsy fartsy plays, pictures and other pseudo classics and the movie is done. Acting is strong due to Ben who gives his character a posh predator disposition making for involvedness that stings. Nibbles: Roast Pheasant with wine gravy.
A documentary that proves that the United States of America is not a free society and that it continues to bully, its own people and the rest of the world. With the antagonism of Hitler and the power house of Communism, America marketing money is available to Darwinians to push there own self centered view. Honest questions deserve honest open answers. Nibbles: Crème Anglaise.
Complexity and confusion of the characters is enhanced by the enlightened brilliance of the actors. The script steadfastly progresses to its tragic release of the story and the life changing consequences. The distinctiveness of this film creates an interest that will last throughout, stimulating the mind with thoughts of compassion and sorrow at innocence lost. Nibbles: Deep Fried Fish
Passions running wild in the USA, with the leaders showing just how stupid most of them are, comes across strongly in this wild and free thinking film. Free speech is shown to be somewhat lacking as the oppression by business and government is clearly shown interfering with the right to be human. Well photographed and written with lots of arguments which are clearly entertaining. Nibbles: Rock Cakes.
Evil forces, the Catholic Church and mayhem will ensue. Cinematography gives an account of the mysterious and fears in heavy ladles giving good cause to jump. Actors scream well, a sign to the fear and pain that is being told in the story. Sets are magnificent creating a very believable time and place. Interesting question; Where did Satan fall, Answer Tartarus. Nibbles: Bruschetta
One of those great family films that have not aged and are still very relevant to today's entertainment. Actors do a fine job of work keeping the fun slick and fast. Set and graphics for there day were of the highest standard and one has to be very attentive to detail to see the minor errors. Story captivates and keeps the mind entertained throughout. Nibbles: Buttery Popcorn.
Another great family film that set the standard for franchises in the late 80s and 90s. Story is a lot of fun and will keep the whole family entertained throughout. Actors have a lot of fun with this story bringing a smile and a laugh to the script. Nibbles: Chocolate Duds
Cinematography is beautifully colored with a vibrancy that gives the visual a style and sharpness that is pleasant. Script is well written giving a steadfast story line that is full of innuendoes causing fun and laughter along the way. Actors bring out the sorrow of jilt and the fight for the love to come back in a run that lasts a lifetime. Fights are a little girly. Nibbles: Deep Fried Eggs Escoffier Style
Cinematography is stunning giving an incredible beauty to such a brutal and heartrending film. Story is written with finite and intimate look at the human condition when placed into a stressful lifestyle. Its complexity shocks the human being into wondering which part of the animal kingdom is he really part of. Actors create a story that is wise in its caricature. Nibbles: Baked Potato and Cheese.
