A beautiful story brought to life. Each chapter representing a decade of life. The character, Chiron (so relatable) easily depicts the life of being a black man in America. To always be tough and hyper masculine. A father figure who is nonetheless, a gem himself. Not judging or harshly hurting the child for being who he wants. A mother struggling with addiction who happens to find requiem towards the end. A young man with an internal struggle with his sexuality. Each story all intertwines into a beautifulf cinematic masterpiece known as "Moonlight".

This movie is a delightful holiday movie. Possibly by far, one of the greatest, and it should go down as a classic. Although the movie seems overpacked, you can't help but fall in love with the Whitfield's and feel apart of their family as their secrets of infidelity, sibling rivalry, and family issues unravel. It's enjoyable and fun nonetheless. Each character adds their own spice to each scene of the movie and it just gets better. Also the chemistry amongst the cast was phenomenal (possibly due to the fact that many worked together on other projects).
