Classic! The chemistry between Stewart and Day is awesome. They make a great on screen couple. This is a great story, and the cast carries it effortlessly. One of Hitchcock's finest.
Wanted to see this for Emily Blunt. The cast is spectacular. Unfortunately, this is an unnecessary sequel. The Cover is Not The Book is a great tune, but there aren't any songs like Feed The Birds. It is a fun, enjoyable film.
I didn't get to see Aquaman in the theaters. I just saw it yesterday on Blu-Ray. I'm still trying to wrap my head around some of his updated powers - like nearly bulletproof. Geoff Johns made Aquaman cool again a few years back with The New 52 relaunch. The characters are awesome, The story is solid. I have a slight problem with Aquaman's sense of justice - you know the scene I mean. The biggest quibble I have is Atlantis. It's like a mash-up of Asgard and Wakanda - under water. I'm not sure I buy into the advanced technology under the sea. It doesn't take away from enjoying the film. I really enjoyed the film. Mamoa is da man!
I remember when this movie was called "Hook" and it starred Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman. Similar theme. The cast is great, both live action and voice actors. Young Obi-Wan, Ewan MCGregor, and Agent Carter, Heyley Atwell are superb. The story has a sense of melancholy to it. This is a children's story for adults.
