If you liked what you saw before, you'll probably like this one. What's interesting to me about these movies, is how I can easily follow along and enjoy while watching them, but then a month later the only story that I really remember is the first movie. Everything is much more scattered in my aging brain ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Fun action flick. I know many don't really dig the almost constant time shifts, and at first it bothered me as well. However, eventually I got into the groove of it and even enjoyed it. I really feel that this is one of those movies that the audience score is a much better indicator than the 'tomatometer' of how good this movie is.
Starts okay, looks like it could be interesting, but does not stay that way. Very, very predictable, which could be said of many movies I suppose. This just seems like a computer was fed the plot points of various dystopian teen novels and produced... this. I saw the tag line that it was from the producers of Stranger Things and Arrival, both of which I enjoyed, and it suckered me in. Oh well.
A movie about a group of tabletop role players. None of them are very likable. Seriously. It's as if a close minded jock from the 80's make up some characters and a story to go with it. I doubt that that is the case, but that's how it feels. Don't waste your time.
