Different. Dark. Optimistic. This movie challenges our belief in the ideal, that we could forget events and people that we hated. But love and life are stronger than these lies would have us believe.
A surprisingly well-written version of Snow White. Refreshing to see a tough, centered damsel-in-distress. There were places where the story-line needed more meat to it, but overall a very good re-telling of the story.
One of the best inspirational movies ever made. Gritty, emotional, and above-all, honest.
A beautiful love-story told through chilling rainstorms, rising steam, and harrowing self-sacrifice. Majidi uses the medium of cinema to tell you a love-poem. Rich and beautiful, even amidst the grit of its street fights, cement, and poverty.
The best prequel to The Avengers. Why? Because we love a hero who believes in self-sacrifice and doing what's right. Unlike the other Avengers, Captain America chooses his fate, which makes him my type of hero. The acting is excellent. Who can not love a movie with Tommy Lee Jones in the cast? The special effects and action scenes could have been a bit stronger towards the climax of the movie, but all-in-all a GREAT movie!
