Terribly boring film. I can't believe the high ratings it received. The opening is depressing the middle is very slow and the action scenes are difficult to believe. Thank God for fast forward.
Very funny especially in the training capsule and the martion walk with flatulence. "It wasn't me"
Who on this planet can sit through this mind numbing dribble of a film. This was a total waist of 2 hours and 40 minutes. I was intrigued by the concept and the stellar reviews. Never trust a critic.
The movie features a mother who always picks the wrong man because all men evidently are louses. Her depressing son and nihilistic daughter speak volumes to her parenting skills and lack there of. The only interesting portion of the film is completely dropped. Mom removed her own children from an abusive father while leaving his 2 biological children behind to fend for themselves. Rather than the Hispanic immigrant who thanks the mother for inspiring him to get an education I would rather have seen one of the abused children ask her how she could leave them never to check on or see them again.
I kept hoping the film would get better as time went on, but was relieved to finally see the credits. My wife and daughter who endured this ordeal with me may never allow me to pick another movie again.
