X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)
Upon first watch I didn't like this movie because it didn't meet my expectation of who Apocalypse is based of the comics and cartoons. He's a large hulking intimidating powerful mutant and his horsemen and just as terrifying. I believe this is most people's reason to not like this movie. However when watching the movie back to back with X-men: Days of Future Past (the best of the entire film series), this movie is actually pretty good and holds to the characters pretty well. Apocalypse is even done pretty well when you get past the lack of stature and his voice. Apocalypse was one of the first mutants and the fact that he can transfer his essence from one mutant body to another, gaining the new mutant ability while retaining his other abilities and extending his lifespan, makes him a very interesting character. Basically that means this Apocalypse is not the final form of Apocalypse which is enjoyed in the comics and the cartoons.

Monster Hunter (2020)
Pretty good B movie. As for being a movie based off a video game, pretty decent. There was potential to make it Epic, but would have greatly increased the run time. For the most part I think they got it right. Several characters, monsters, landscaping, and other elements appear in the movie and does a great job representing the game. There is not much cursing (Sh*t is said about 10 times during a 15 minutes action sequence, but half are partial or muffled) and no sexual content. There were a elements in the movie that I would like added to the Monster Hunter World video game.

I love the Original Star Trek even though it's low budget and campy. I finally got around to watching the movies and boy is the first one extremely boring. It seems they took a discarded script from the original series and just added long fly by shots to pad the run time. Seriously there are sections of 10 minutes of space clouds or passing stars. There is even a 5 minute fly by of The Enterprise at Kirk makes his way from a docking station to the ship which was obvious run time padding. (he beams up to the station and then takes a shuttle to the ship, then immediately after Dr McCoy beams straight to the ship)

Shazam! (2019)
Really disappointed after seeing all the positive reviews. The Writing, acting, and CGI are subpar, mostly like a CW show quality. Zachary Levi looks ridiculous in the costume, the muscles look like cheap Halloween costume. There is very little action, Captain Marvel doesn't really throw any punches or show off any real power in the fight scenes (this guy is supposed to be on Superman level) Just very boring, immature, and poorly made superhero movie.

Frozen II (2019)
Very little story, tons of singing. Fell extremely short of the original. Will never watch this movie again.
