I left the movie feeling something. When a movie causes you to go through different emotions and to care then it's done its job as being entertainment. I definitely recommend the movie and applaud it for thinking outside the box. After reading reviews and not being shocked on people not understanding the movie. I feel the need to come in its defense. The movie has a theme of inspiration and thriving to be more than what were perceived to be. Chappie was created by a dreamer, someone that had a goal of creating a robot that was conscious. He then took his ideals and instilled it into chappie and in the end went beyond the dreams and visions of his creator. As a artist myself I know what road blocks are like in life and this movie is a relatable and inspirational movie that shows us to inspire no matter whose in our path. It appears all the negative reviewers forgot how to dream and to inspire and become more than what they are. It's sad.
