movie reviewers can stick it where the sun don't shine this is a really good flick
this is a solid fantasy-family film
a good action movie directed by let's face it the greatest action director ever john woo. this film is about a cop who is hunting 2 arms dealing rival Chinese mobs and one of the members of the Chinese mob betrays them and joins the other you find out he is actually a undercover cop. really the plot is a excuse to show a crap ton of action and by the first 10 minutes you already know what your getting into with this one. this film has the most action I've seen in a film ever. and everything about the film for the most part is good I really love the score to this movie the 80s city jazz touches were fantastic the script was rather funny at times and you gotta love the badass villains because the villains are make or break in a action movie and here there great biggest problem for me is the length it really went on a little too long even by the 60 minute mark it felt like the film was wrapping up soon but it didn't the hospital sequence. dragged the movie out. some scenes could have been cut and in this hospital there was non stop action. but it got to the point I couldn't tell who was a bad guy a cop a good guy a hospital worker. I got really confused. gunshots left and right didn't woo me there (no pun intended). but gladly the finale is very cool and kind of leads Me to believe theres a deeper message which that's cool a epretty good flick regardless. action classic but to be perfectly honest. the film is not the greatest in the action genre considering most of the action was kind of pointless. and it was really overextended some sequences were same amped up with action it almost felt like john woo was trying to set a world record with stunt work the film has nothing on films like die hard or lethal weapon films that aren't confusing. but regardless can't say I didn't enjoy it
