I almost started to like this film, but I started to realize that there is no real conflict established for Montag. Because they changed Clarisse's character and got rid of Millie, there is little reason for Montag to have any conflict. In the book, he is disturbed by the death of the woman, but that follows his conversation with Clarisse, and the near death of his wife. Without those two elements, this conflict falls flat and doesn't really work. Thgis Guy Montag is not a well realized character, unlike Bradbury's. Disappointing.
I don't like movies glorifying suicide.
