BEST MOVIE of the Year! WOW. Dont leave early. Stay for the end.
Better than any fiction story. This is real. Had to see this cuz amazed by that other Free-Climber documentary of just a couple years ago, the guy who scaled Yosemite.
Saw this 9.17.21 AMC Org.
Beautiful, spectacular, fantastical but usual superhero stuff with totally unbelievable fights every 15 minutes or so. Could not relate to this stuff anymore. Flying dragons, etc. Kinda like Crouching Tiger Hidden Whatsits.
Saw 1 & 1/2 times, last at AMC Orange Sept 2021
Lowlife family & friends who can't say 10 words without F-BOMBS, including father & daughter. Finally get offended when the twentyish daughter gets porn pics going viral. Then its revenge on the guy who did it. & that doesn't get interesting until the last 30 minutes. Then instead of killing the young frat boy, they pose him getting hornswoggled & blackmail him. Total trash. Not a 'date movie' nor a chick flick. Saw it AMC Fult 9.16.21. I've seen so many bad movies in a row this year I'm seriously thinking of giving up my AMC A-List & quitting going to the movie theaters except occasionally.
Horribly dull! Sure to be used by& terrorists & anti-Americans as it really is a gross political exaggeration of 'Gitmo' Abu Graib interrogations trying to save innocent lives from mass murder. Hated this movie. Went to see a Gambling movie & duped into this! The star was depressed & so was the movie. Finally got some excitement at the end with a twist not worth waiting for nor the money. Saw it 9.14.21 at AMC Orange.
1949-50 Film NOIR. I've seen this movie before & it is very good, as the reviews and rankings attest.
It's on again, L.A. Channel 13, LAbor Day Eve.
Stars JOHN DALL, a name that vaguely rings a bell.
Conflicting reports which year: 1949 or 50?
Kinda like BONNIE & CLYDE way later.
Great reviews. 1942. 4 Big Stars. Young IDA LUPINO slim, sweet & booful. Never heard of the star JEAN GABIN, but he was BIG French film star in 30's. + CLAUD RAINS! & THOMAS MITCHELL!. Great fisherman's wharf ambience.
Never heard of this til saw on TV 8.15.21.
1951! WOW! GREAT MOVIE. & Terrific suspense & twists. HEY, RT STAFF! This movie should be Rated!! RICHARD TODD! RUTH ROMAN! Interesting mystery thriller.
I've long heard her name but had NO idea who RUTH was, but she was smartly GORGEOUS! She goes on my list of All Time HOT WOMEN!
& DARRY HICKMAN, as the young man. Bro of Dobie Gillis.
& TODD, a WWII real life British hero, with accent like RICHARD BURTON & CHRISTOPHER HITCHENS. TODD was ROBIN HOOD in the 50s TV series. Hardly ever seen him in much else.
Saw this on THE MOVIE CHANNEL 8.15.2021
1962! run down shack house on EMERALD BAY, Orange County. GREAT cast. FABIAN! Famous movie, title at least.
But dated silly movie, depressing in parts.
Never saw all before on TV The Movie Channel 13.3, 8.15.21
This is yetAnother recent movie shot almost totally in pitch black darkness so impossible to know what was actually happening most of the time. Be warned! Lighting was apparently an expense they dispensed with. So, recently, other movies where screen was almost total darkness, illuminated by perhaps candle or a 60watt bulb, PETER RABBIT, JUNGLE CRUISE, PIG, GREEN KNIGHT, & now this. Why make a movie so hard to see?
A kids movie. The title sez it all. Silly spoof, but made more sense than a lot of Ho'wood movies I've seen lately.
Only saw it cuz my AMC A-LIST, August 2021, cuz wanted to get out of the August heat and rest in the theater's plush recliner lounger.
Wanted to love it. BUT horrible cinematography! Filmed with minimal lighting, usually in shadows, almost colorless, drab, washed out, faded, unclear, often seemed indistinct, unfocused. Ruined it for me! Often can't tell who is doing what to who, & who is fighting who, with what. Why make a movie so difficult to see? Facial expressions so often obscured in shadows. I kept waiting for it to lighten up. But it NEVER did. How do you make a movie about a Jungle river cruise so dark and faded?
Why so many movies now seemed filmed in the dark. The recent PIG was just as bad, maybe worse. PETER RABBIT also.
'Saw Jungle Cruise with AMC A-List, August 2021.
Stupid silly absurd absolute nonsense geared toward 5th graders F-word mentality.. Sure to be allowed in JOHN CENA's so very respectable Red China as his character is revealed to be a bad guy, the betrayer protecting the evil plans of the American government. When will these awful comic book movies go out of style. I only see them cuz with the AMC A-List it doesn't cost me anything extra.
