It's okay. More of the same Marvel stuff - animated this time. But okay. 6 out of 10
I just finished watching the entire 11 seasons of the show. I obviously like it. I have a few complaints about some of the voices and not understanding all the dialogue but I dig the day-in-day-out twistedness. The movie is right in line so I'll say 6.9 out of 10.
It's damn good news that you can melt a witch by throwing some water on her but I dunno. It's obviously a classic of the medium - and rightly so - I can see how special it is - particularly for its time - but there are holes and hard-to-take bits. Not super-rewatchable for me but it deserves respect for the place it earned for itself. Think I'll just call it a 7 out of 10 and leave it at that.
Just crap, in my opinion. I readily admit that this genre - dopey supernatural horror - is not my thing. I wouldn't even watch this except for the ridiculous fuss being made over Jordan Peele. They gave him an honest-to-gawd-Oscar for Get Out. I keep thinking there must be something extra going on. But there's not. It's all just dopey horror. Impossible creatures, jump scares, tedious cat-and-mouse crap. More holes than Swiss cheese. 3.4 out of 10
Yeah, it's pretty good. I like the characters and they are well-drawn. Not every inch of it works but good job by first-time director Olivia Wilde. 7 out of 10
