Tenet was an "experience", to say the least. Nolan's true to form, had expectations so high that not even he could hit then. That being said, this movie was enjoyable, the twist and turns, along with the penultimate ending had me on the edge of my seat just enjoying the practicality of what I was watching, and for a Nolan movie, I liked it a lot. I think if I could some up the movie in three words, it would be this. "What Happens, Happens."
I watched this film without knowing almost anything, seeing maybe one or two headlines but not checking out the articles, which was refreshing. As I watched this film, I noticed details I would have overlooked in big action set pieces as so much is going on, I can't fully grasp what is happening. I love Marvel Studios, but sometimes you just need a contained small "indie" vibe to compliment the film. Anyways, I loved the camera. Not just the camera, the camera movements, sure it maybe weird to some, but my gosh, does a steady pan make a difference. Also, it didn't try to be bigger than it actually was, and I loved that. Please, see this movie and keep an open mind to what you are seeing, then watch it with your friends once to have a fun time and enjoy great cinema. I enjoyed it, and I hope you will too.
