Plot seems to have been written by a couple of 11 year olds, so obvious and so bland. "Crowd " scenes, consist of 30 or so extras representing "the whole town" which is an example of the very limited budget.

Generally pleasant revisiting of the 1960s / 70's TV series. The plot is obvious, but pleasant enough and the overall effect leaves a warm nostalgic feeling for the TV series.

A great musical score backs up a story that is genuinely attention grabbing and heart warming, though never schmaltzy.

Delightful stories, beautifully intertwined.

A very watchable movie that has some really nice moments, and strong lead performances from Douglas and Benning. The sort of film to fall back on and watch again.
