Sappy, dry, dramatic and boring. Hulk (2003) has some aspects I like such as the three lead characters, the villain is meh, the Hulk scenes are pretty cool and it does have some interesting ideas. But this film is very slow paced, filled with pretty wooden dialogue and is too drama heavy rather than fueling us comic book fans with more action. Overall this film is a misguided attempt at a Hulk film.
Gruesome but fun and smart. Robocop is a well thought out film that features a cool premise, spectacular special effects and action scenes, as well as having some good performances.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring has beautiful visuals, ambitious story, great characters, heart and is brooding as well. This film is an example of breathtaking filmmaking and is one of the best films of all time!
How to Train Your Dragon 2 has all the stuff we loved from the first movie but adds a lot more emotion and depth. This film is not only a gorgeously animated fun family flick but it's also pretty dark and is very action packed as well. How to Train Your Dragon 2 might be my favourite Dreamworks film and one of my favourite animated films of all time!
Tomorrowland is original, beautiful and fun. However it does have quite a bit of exposition which I suppose is expected from a film of this caliber but overall Tomorrowland is a solid film and has a very well thought out vision from Brad Bird.
