Wonderful conclusion to this Infinity saga. It was an emotional roller coaster of joy and sadness. The last hour of this movie is some of the best superhero sequences in live action history, hard to top. Without getting into spoilers, so many great moments, especially for Captain America.
Again not getting into spoilers, but the only big drawback were the time travel elements, which in almost every story create plot holes. Also though excited for Phsse 4 MCU, i am sort of wanting a reboot to see all of Marvel's great characters together from the start.
Just a really bad movie overall. Great visuals of Atlantis, but Momoa as Aquaman is just plain terrible. I am a long time Aquaman fan, and he just reminds me nothing of the character, and I am not talking about his look. Visually he reminds me of the equally awful 1990s comic book version with his harpoon hand. The way he acts is best described as Aquabro, just a horrible take on a great character. Black Manta was cool but overall not a great acting performance from the rest of the cast. So hoping for a classic, more kingly, version of Aquaman will one day appear on DCTV or hopefully a reboot at the movies so we can finally see a DC universe that is well casted and has a great story that honors these characters.
Just a plain incredible movie, take the kids to go see it ASAP. By far one of the best superhero movies I have ever seen. Has a great story, action, humor, and easter eggs. Loved the Stan Lee cameo and the tribute to both him and Ditko. The after the credits scene was hysterical. Would love to see more superhero movies embrace the multiverse. I hope this leads to more animated superhero movies as well, a Justice League or Avengers movie like this would be incredible.
I am a huge Star Wars fan, who didn't like Last Jedi at all, and never held much interest in Han Solo, but with that said, I think the movie was great. It had great action sequences, humor, and numerous name drops and references, including many from the old Expanded Universe. Loved seeing the Imperial Army in action, as well as finally seeing Corellia.
Definitely one of the best MCU movies thus far. Great superhero team-up action and humor. Thought everyone did a great job. The interaction between the Guardians and Thor was fantastic, as well as Iron-Man and Doctor Strange. Great finally seeing some of my favorite MCU characters all together in place, Thor, Captain America, Black Panther, Spider-Man, etc... If only the Fantastic Four could of been there too. Thanos and the Black Order also made for excellent villains. I do prefer the motivations of Thanos from the comics, more mad Titian to me, but I understand why they did what they did. I can't wait till next year for the conclusion.
