A complete miss. How could they make a movie that bad? It had potential, but wow, that was so bad.
I don't know why this got such bad reviews. I loved it! I won't spoil the surprise for you, but it was well acted and written and had twists and turns.
This movie proves that action doesn't necessarily mean interesting. There were parts of the story that I really enjoyed, but even though there was lots of action, I found myself bored most of the time.
I loved this movie! Even though the harsh violence in the movie were edited out to make it less emotional than it could have been, I enjoyed it as a true family friendly movie. The story was interesting with mystery and a few twists. I love seeing the Welsh Celtic/Briton culture in the Appalachians. I felt emotion and got lost in the story. I highly recommend it!
Love the character so I was very excited to see this movie. 30 minutes in, and I was so bored I couldn't force myself to watch it anymore. Way to ruin a good character! So disappointing. Bad acting and worse directing topped off with horrible writing. I hope they remake it someday with good writing, good acting and a better director.
I really enjoyed it. I understood the paradox and multiverse theory. The writing at times was a bit cheesy, but thoroughly enjoyable. The special effects were great and the action and plot were exciting. The easter eggs were great! Fun movie!
Orcs in Tolkien lore symbolize anyone who uses technology (mainly speaking of using technology warfare to capture other countries or territories in conquest.). Orcs have nothing to do with our modern day inequalities or race issues. Putting that glaring movie misconception aside. Bright is simply not a good movie in any way.
A complete disappointment. While the special effects were good, the movie just wasn't scary, and the characters were very poorly developed. I yawned through the last third of the movie. The movie did not even seem to have the same theme as the book - belief, love, and friendship overcoming evil. This was so very one-dimensional just like the characters in it were - one dimensional. Wow! I expected more than this crap.
I love this adaptation of Stephen King's book IT. This is one of the best made for TV adaptations of Stephen King's books. The characters were very well developed, and the story well done. I completely lost myself in the story while watching. I completely bought in to the characters and what was happening. It was a truly frightening show. I love the theme of belief, love, and friendship overcoming evil. I highly recommend this show!
I was so pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed watching this movie! I felt the characters were much better developed than the critics had stated they were. I definitely understood them and felt an affinity with them. I also understood the plot/story line very well. I expected I would be lost and bored after reading the professional critics' reviews, but I was delighted instead.
The scenes, costumes, weapons, and creatures were beautiful! The action was fun and fantastic. The storyline was very good.
When the movie was finished, I was left wanting more and hoping for the next Warcraft movie!
A campy fun bloodfest! I really enjoyed watching this movie!
