Just as great as "Up in Smoke", I loved how it had more of a "day in the life" feel to it than "Up in Smoke", I liked seeing the additions of Donna and Pee Wee Herman, sadly this would be Cheech & Chong's last great film, highly recommended if you like watching stoner comedies or feelgood films.
Started off great but does lose its steam during the last third act of the film, I do enjoy the moments where Richard Pryor's character starts interacting with the children and shows more concern for their wellbeing along with the road trip scenes.
I thought Smokey 3 was a fun, enjoyable film and I thought Jackie Gleason gave a great performance as Buford T Justice, I also thought Junior was at his funniest in this film, Smokey 3 is worth watching if you're a fan of Buford T Justice and Junior, I thought Cledus aka Snowman was annoying as the Bandit and I preferred him as the Snowman, I also thought the Enos's were annoying and they got on my nerves quickly.
At least this movie flowed better than Part 2 due to it having more laughs and chases.
I thought it was a fun, enjoyable movie, Stuart Pankin does a great job playing Mr. Hodgkins who is a greedy, evil banker who you'd love to hate, Peter Billingsley does a good job playing Jack who went above and beyond to save his baseball coach's doghouse that sells food.
I thought this was an okay film but definitely not one of A&C's best, the scene where Bud kept changing the clock on Lou so he could have his turn sleeping was hilarious, this is one film where the first half was better than the second half, other than the "sleeping routine" scene this was a forgettable effort by A&C.
