I've watched a million movies and this is one of the pointless ones. I see what the director tried to do with the 4:3 screen ratio but it just doesn't work in the 2016(when the movie came out). If you want to watch Shia Leboeuf have sex with 15 year old girls and watch kids just drive around and set off fireworks then this movie is for you.
First half was pretty good, but the second half dragged especially when they were outside of the ship. Many holes in the story too. I still don't understand how the black guy got stuck in that compartment during lift off? Someone else obviously screwed the compartment shut with a screwdriver since the captain had to use a screwdriver to remove the door to the compartment? And if it was a three person mission, NASA would have made the ship with a capacity of five or six persons to be safe. They would not send up three people on a ship designed for two with modifications for three max lol. Totally ridiculous plot, and very far fetched.
Decent Skinemax soft core porn but that's about it. Horrible story and acting, not sure how the script was allowed to become a movie? Sure let's normalize Stockholm Syndrome in 2020 and make a movie about kidnapping and then have the victim actually fall in love with the kidnapper. It's like they make the kidnapper the protagonist and try to make everything he did OK. So stupid. And why did they end it like there is actually going to be a sequel?
