A movie that has a pretty interesting plot but, is utterly boring. If there is one thing that a movie needs to accomplish in order to be successful is a movie needs to be entertaining. This movie wasn't so it failed. The aliens were boring. The zombies were boring. So, to wrap up this review I can't recomend this movie for the main fact that it's boring.
One of the worst entries in the Hellraiser series. Now, in a Hellraiser movie you expect several people being torn apart by meat hooks, and pinhead along side his cinobites giving a speech of death. Well in this movie you do get to see that but, only once. This movie is double as confusing as the average Hellraiser (which is already very confusing), and it manages to absoulotley break the rules of pinhead, and the deadites while bringing us the most unlikeable main character ever. Honestly who routes for the guy who cheats on his family, and doesn't care about it. Also the Cenobites in this movie look like Venom, the start of the movie feels like a cheap detective story, and also Pinhead doesn't appear until an hour and twenty minutes into the film. Yes. You heard that right. You have to sit through a non interesting movie just to see about 7 minutes of pinhead. So in the end this movie was so different in the wrong way that if you change a few things this could completley not be a Hellraiser film.
A terrible sequel-ish movie (that techinacally is a 1.5 since it takes place between the first and second movie) that is flooded with problems. Those problems include bad cgi, bad love scenes, and many things that could've been creepy in this movie were cut short, and felt rushed. This movie also suffers from bordem unless the creeper is on screen. Now, the rest of the promblem came in the form of "dumb decisions." For instance the death scenes were dumb. The plot was dumb (especially the part that revolves around the floating hand). The movie breaks its own logic, and ends randomly. Also in this movie the creepers car is apparently the bat mobile. This makes no sense in the creeper storyline because, it's not mentioned any other time in the series. So overall this is a dumb movie. There are very few complements I can give to this movie. It had decent acting, and a decent way of connecting the first movie with the second. Also, the creeper looked great. Better then he has in any of the other movies. He still doesn't look creepy but, it's an improvement.
One amazing joyride from start to finish. This movie is pure fun. Now, unlike others in the "Camp Blood" this one isn't "So bad it's good" it's just good. Now the mistakes are many such as Continuity errors, an annoying theme song, a twist ending that doesn't make sense, and you can clearly see the camera lens in multiple shots. That was my biggest criticism. The acting wasn't that bad for a low budget movie like this, and the gore was pretty good. This Camp Blood movie is (like many other Camo Blood movies) very enjoyable-entertaining but, not technically good. So I highly recomend this movie if your a fan of the slasher sub-genre!
