A movie that has a pretty interesting plot but, is utterly boring. If there is one thing that a movie needs to accomplish in order to be successful is a movie needs to be entertaining. This movie wasn't so it failed. The aliens were boring. The zombies were boring. So, to wrap up this review I can't recomend this movie for the main fact that it's boring.
One of the worst entries in the Hellraiser series. Now, in a Hellraiser movie you expect several people being torn apart by meat hooks, and pinhead along side his cinobites giving a speech of death. Well in this movie you do get to see that but, only once. This movie is double as confusing as the average Hellraiser (which is already very confusing), and it manages to absoulotley break the rules of pinhead, and the deadites while bringing us the most unlikeable main character ever. Honestly who routes for the guy who cheats on his family, and doesn't care about it. Also the Cenobites in this movie look like Venom, the start of the movie feels like a cheap detective story, and also Pinhead doesn't appear until an hour and twenty minutes into the film. Yes. You heard that right. You have to sit through a non interesting movie just to see about 7 minutes of pinhead. So in the end this movie was so different in the wrong way that if you change a few things this could completley not be a Hellraiser film.
A terrible sequel-ish movie (that techinacally is a 1.5 since it takes place between the first and second movie) that is flooded with problems. Those problems include bad cgi, bad love scenes, and many things that could've been creepy in this movie were cut short, and felt rushed. This movie also suffers from bordem unless the creeper is on screen. Now, the rest of the promblem came in the form of "dumb decisions." For instance the death scenes were dumb. The plot was dumb (especially the part that revolves around the floating hand). The movie breaks its own logic, and ends randomly. Also in this movie the creepers car is apparently the bat mobile. This makes no sense in the creeper storyline because, it's not mentioned any other time in the series. So overall this is a dumb movie. There are very few complements I can give to this movie. It had decent acting, and a decent way of connecting the first movie with the second. Also, the creeper looked great. Better then he has in any of the other movies. He still doesn't look creepy but, it's an improvement.
One amazing joyride from start to finish. This movie is pure fun. Now, unlike others in the "Camp Blood" this one isn't "So bad it's good" it's just good. Now the mistakes are many such as Continuity errors, an annoying theme song, a twist ending that doesn't make sense, and you can clearly see the camera lens in multiple shots. That was my biggest criticism. The acting wasn't that bad for a low budget movie like this, and the gore was pretty good. This Camp Blood movie is (like many other Camo Blood movies) very enjoyable-entertaining but, not technically good. So I highly recomend this movie if your a fan of the slasher sub-genre!
Boring, boring, and more boring. This sequel offers nothing new, and is just a rushed version of the original. The monsters were terrible, and didn't even feel threatening. The plot was all over the place, and the villain looked like a rejected Cenobite from Hellraiser. The only positive I could give is that the circus-bunny thing was cool but, could've been taken farther. Also the effects were pretty good, and so was the acting. I don't recomend this movie but, if you just have to see a copy of the original silent hill then watch this one.
Camp blood, the infamously cheaply made Friday the 13th rip-off series. All of those things are perfectly shown in this movie. Now, before I start bashing this movie, let me tell you that this movie is a good time. If you watch this with anyone you'll both probably laugh and point out all of the flaws. So this movie does achieve what each movie should achieve. It's entertaining. Very, very, very entertaining. Now, if you want to know all the bad stuff in this movie I'll tell you. First off the acting is horrible. Not just horrible, all of the actors were smirking in this movie. The storyline makes absoulotley zero sense. This movie is filled with pointless scenes that add nothing to the plot. The killer is pretty cool, until we get the worst twist ending ever. It's not that it doesn't make sense it's that *SPOILERS* the killer at the start is clearly a dude but, it turns out he's a girl. Does not make sense. The positives is that the kills in this movie may be CGI most of the time but, their pretty good for a low budget movie. The music is also not that bad. It's better then what I was expecting. So, in the end I recommend this movie for the so bad its good quality.
Killjoy, the Movie that (apparently) was dying for a sequel. This movie starts out with an unrelated cop chase then people swearing at each other while cops act like bored parents over these *troubled* teenagers. Their car Radomly shuts down in the middle of the woods at night (typical). Then they find a cabin two people get shot, and somewhere along there killjoy pops up. You also don't see killjoy until 38 minutes into the film, and what is with his hair? It's huge but, besides that he looks and sounds better then he did in the first movie. Killjoy was somewhat cool before he started (in the forest) making chicken noises for no good reason, and he did that for a minute. So many strange things in this movie. So overall this movie is very boring, and doesn't have anything new to offer to this awful series.
A random movie that I would not recommend. Killjoy is very, very, very bad. Now, it's not the worst movie ever made but, oh boy! It's close. Let's start off by stating how random this movie is. It has teleporting homeless people, a clown who is a bullied kid but at the same time not, and is full of terrible dialogue. Litterky, I bet someone wrote this in a day! The acting is bad, and the clown is not scary In the least but. He has a high squeaky voice, and moves his hands around awkwardly and for no reason. The only thing good about this movie is that the very basic storyline has potential if it were put in better hands.
Let me say right off the bat the first half of this movie is close to perfect. It set up a great plot, it had great kills, and plenty of references to previous movies! Now the second half is where this movie falls to pieces. We get a ridiculous resolution to the mystery of all the Chuckys, and the ending (which is suppose to set up further installments) did not excite me for any sequels. So overall if your a Chucky fan then go ahead, and watch this. If your just a casual horror watcher then try to avoid this one!
A not as good sequel to the Hellraiser series. Now this movie does give you a good dose of entertainment, and it is somewhat entertaining but, oh boy! The complete randomness of the series. It changes Pinheads mythology all together, and he now has a dog? Since when did demons need dogs? This movie skips around century's. I mean that was kinda cool but, not really. It felt like I watched three different movies. So in the end this is a less then average Hellraiser movie but, I will say this. It wasn't what I was expecting!
A suprisingly good medevil monster movie. Now, I'll say it straight forward this is way more of a action movie then a horror movie but, it works. The first quarter of the movie feels rushed but, the rest of the movie is great! Luke Evans suprisingly did a good job as Dracula. So overall a very suprisingly good movie!
Another Hellraiser movie that is mostly like the other ones. Meh. Once again Pinhead was awsome! The story was okay, and the music was terrible! Although this movie had an amazing finale! So if you enjoyed the last two Hellraiser movies you will enjoy this one.
An interesting but, somewhat dull movie. Yes, this movie is called Frankenstein but, Frankenstein was barley in it! They should've re titled it the Crazy doctor who wanted to revive Frankenstein with his Igor like countless previous doctors who tried and failed. Honestly is this the most original idea universal could come up with? It's the same plot as the last 4 Frankenstein movies!!!! So overall if you watched son of Frankenstein you've pretty much Ed watched this. Just include the depressed wolf an, and some form of dracula. Hey, at least it was better than "Frankenstein meets the Wolfman!"
A suprisingly really good monster movie. Now, it may be more of an action movie but, it still passes off as a universal monster movie! I loved the cool opening in the desert. To a great finally in London! This movie is sure to keep you entertained the entire way through. Tom Cruise suprisingly does an excellent job at his part. Now, my absoulotley favorite part of this movie is this new "Dark Universe's" take on Dr.Jekel and Mr.Hyde. I loved it, and can't wait to see it expand in future installments!
A pretty good sequel to the original Hellraiser. This movie at first starts the same. Couple kidnap bodies to revive one person but, then it takes a huge turn when they go to hell, and we get to see the cool Labrinth that is hell! Pinhead and the rest of the Cenobites are as usual pretty good. I love how this movie dove into hell. That was a nice turn. What I didn't like is once again the music. I also didn't like that they turned Pinhead into some sort of good guy. In my opinion he should remain evil (with pins in his head) forever! So overall if you enjoyed the first one you will probably enjoy this one. By the way this movie has a really creepy carnival which I thought was the best part of "Hell."
Now, this movie is no were near perfect but, with a few tweaks it could be. Things they need to fix in this movie? Well they need to get a new soundtrack, and also hire a better editor for this movie. The editing was horrible. Some good things is that the Cenobites were awesome every time they are on screen! Also, the gore effects are really good in this movie. In fact the affects in this movie are just genrally good. Doug Bradley does a great performance. Now, the absoulotley worst part of the movie is without a drought the ending. It comes out of no were, and makes zero sense what so ever. So this movie is good but, it could use a remake!
One of the best movies of 2017! There are so many things that make this movie great! It has a great cast! All the kids did good and Bill Skarsgård does an amazing performance as Pennywise. The cinematography was great, and this movie managed to get away with really good scares. So overall a must watch in 2017!
A pointless non-interesting somewhat slasher movie. Honestly this movie is so filled with flaws-inconcistinceies that it is an ALL-TIME low for the "wrong turn" series. So in this movie apparently when there is a party in town the rest of this cheap production town is abandoned. I'm not joking, apparently the partners can't tell that an explosion-fire went on! The sheriff in this movie is one of the dumbest people in horror movies of all time. At one point she says to "not" split up but, then later in the movie she splits everyone up. The kills are boring, and the acting wasn't that bad. A promblem with the ending is *spoilers* all the killers get out unharmed! It was the most dissapionting ending ever. So this movie is deffinetly different then all the other wrong turns. It doesn't even take place in a forest!
A movie that from a distance looks like your average slasher flick but, honestly it isn't. Now, yes it has the typical slasher kills and a typically deformed killer! Although it's story is much more detailed and better thought out then the usual. It offers some nice thrills, and it's somewhat entertaining. The promblem she with this movie are mainly only one thing. The existing, it was horrible! It felt like a goosebumps episode. To give you an example on how bad the editing is, at one point to different songs are playing at the same time! Also the music was pretty bad to top it off! So overall watch this movie. That's all there is to it. It won't leave you thinking about it all day but, while the films rolling your eyes will be glued to the screen (mostly).
