Cool concept, not a great execution. I feel like this was supposed to be a movie about the horror of having a psychotic child. However, it was difficult to relate to any of the characters. Plot was predictable. Most of the horror was body horror.
From an anthropologist perspective, this was sooooooo good!
Probably a longer watch than reading the short story. Slow start, but good payoff
Good dark comedy with historical characters. You feel bad for laughing. Definitely gives you a sense of the tenseness of the Terrors and how everyone hates and fears an authoritarian dictator, even his friends. Some of the characters seemed to change priorities without any real explanation which was confusing.
Overall good. I did not care about anyone who died, could have done without the girl power scene. Mad they messed up the causality (on purpose?) with no teaser as to why. Otherwise, I good "end" to the franchise.
