Has some fun scenes and interesting ideas. Nothing to special, kids might like it, but it may be too dumb towards adults who prefer movies with more of an edge.
It has it's flaws, but it isn't as bad as most people say it is (I'm looking at you, mr plinkett) the action is cool and some of the sfx are decent. Yeah, the romance could've been better, but if you don't try to overanalyze this, you'll enjoy it.
Plot feels out of place. like a teen crime drama, the characters are cookie cutter, and the races feel sloppy. Not the best, probably worst than 2 fast.
Was decently made, but felt more like a light imitation of the film it is trying to be a prequel to. If you ignore the plot rehash, you will get good performances from Hopkins and Norton and a fine narrative.
